New Standards / Biennale Architettura 2021

New Standards was presented in the Biennale Architettura in the Finnish Pavillion. The exhibition considered the legacy of Puutalo and its buildings 80 years since the founding of the company. The visual identity of the exhibition was inspired by Puutalo Oy's original graphic materials, including typographic solutions, colours and grids. The book New Standards complemented the visual identity of the exhibition, creating a visual entity that was appropriate for its time, but brought to the present day. Some of the typography in the book was created with letterpress, respecting the original era.
